The Elon School, Alamance County's first independent high school, opened its doors in August, 2007. The mission statement of the school is simple, yet compelling: The Elon School exists to educate the whole student by instilling personal integrity, stimulating intellectual curiosity, and developing social responsibility.

Following a traditional college preparatory curriculum, the School’s faculty seeks to challenge students while also supplying the necessary support for success.
