The Elon School, Alamance County's first independent high school, opened its doors in August, 2007. The mission statement of the school is simple, yet compelling: The Elon School exists to educate the whole student by instilling personal integrity, stimulating intellectual curiosity, and developing social responsibility.
Following a traditional college preparatory curriculum, the School’s faculty seeks to challenge students while also supplying the necessary support for success. Our admissions process is designed to seek motivated and talented students with diverse backgrounds, varied experiences, a respect for community, who will contribute to the strength and energy of our School environment.
