Let's get right to the heart of the matter.
As with all independent educational institutions, The Elon School is responsible for its own funding. Tuition covers a portion of this, but the rest hinges upon gifts of love from our friends and families who support our mission. Our financial goal is that tuition covers approximately 80% of the actual cost of educating each student. Currently that figure is 53%, up from 28% in our first year. The Annual Fund also enables us to recruit and retain great teachers, enrich our curriculum and provide excellent co-curricular opportunities. It's a labor of love and we couldn't do it without you.

Love of learning.
The learning environment at The Elon School features small class sizes, inspiring instructors with advanced degrees, high-level academic offerings and even the opportunity to take courses at adjacent Elon University. It's understandably revered and respected by students and parents alike.

Love of creativity
Visual Arts students at The Elon School continue to sweep local, regional and statewide competitions while our Choral Ensemble was invited to perform in the 2010 International Advent Sing in Vienna, Austria. Creating rich experiences is another hallmark of The Elon School.

Love of competition.
Our comprehensive athletic program has grown to 10 interscholastic sports, celebrating its second state tennis championship in only the second year of eligibility. Last year there were nine All-Star athletes.

At The Elon School, we've created a culture of mutual respect, honor and character where scholarship is sacred, lifelong friendships are cultivated and treasured memories are made. Alamance County's first independent high school has accomplished many great things In a few short years while seeking to build long-term financial stability through The Annual Fund drive. We strive for 100% participation among our family, faculty and staff, a goal well within our reach yet seldom accomplished by other independent institutions.
