Prior to joining us at The Elon School, Mr. Stewart spent the previous 23 years as a successful French teacher at Burlington Day School. He is a brilliant instructor who not only teaches the language itself, but will also bring the culture of the country to life. He has led many student/parent trips to France, and is known for his delightful sense of humor. Recently, Mr. Stewart has participated in several Spanish language immersion institutes in Mexico and Ecuador. He is a life member of the Pi Delta Phi National French Honor Society. Additionally, he has received numerous awards and honors including the Excellence in Education Award from the Alamance County Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Stewart resides in Burlington.
