Gloriana Carballo-Spitler was born in Costa Rica and came to the United States in the mid-1990s. Before coming to the United States she taught English and Science in Costa Rica. In between raising her two children, she has held various teaching positions in North Carolina since 1995. She is an impressive and enthusiastic teacher licensed to teach English, Spanish and ESL in North Carolina. Over the years Mrs. Carballo-Spitler has been very involved with the community. She is a reader minister at Blessed Sacrament Church, and a co-leader of the Alamance Chapter of the Autism Society of North Carolina. She lives in Haw River with her husband and two sons.
