This fall, three students from The Elon School have received their Eagle Scout Awards at recent honor courts in Burlington. David Hill ‘12, whose service project was building a picnic center for the Positive Attitude Youth Center, received his award on September 20. Harris Hawks ’11, whose service project was building shelving for Trollinger Treasures, a thrift store that supports Residential Treatment Services of Alamance, received his award on October 18. Whitt Sellers ’11 whose service project was landscaping of the McEwen Building at The Elon School, received his award on November 22. The Eagle is the highest award that a scout can achieve. Harris is a member of Troop 39 while both David and Whitt are members of Troop 17. Congratulations to all three scouts for their hard work in earning this distinguished honor! |
